Our story
Chloé Dalziel, owner & lead stylist
Founded by freelance hairdresser Chloé, Berté is a private hair salon in Cotton End, Bedford.
Chloé has been hairdressing since 2004. She started with a Saturday job in a popular high street salon in Luton, worked through an apprenticeship and became a fully qualified, full-time stylist. After eight years she launched her own mobile business, Hair by Chloé, which grew into a success thanks to a lot of hard work and a loyal client base.
After moving into her first home with her partner, Chloé decided to build a private home salon, so clients could enjoy a relaxing, breakaway salon experience without the high street hustle and heavy price tag. Berté Private Hairdressing opened its doors in October 2018.

Small, cosy and all yours
As a home salon, it’s an intimate and cosy setting, with two stations, a backwash basin, a tea and coffee area and a waiting seat. Come on your own for a relaxing cut, colour and some peace and quiet, bring a friend, or come as a family of up to four.
Berté prides itself on healthy, gorgeous hair. Alongside a first-class service, you’ll get the expertise and advice to keep your hair looking beautiful long after your appointment.
